It lies in the constellation Canes Venatici, and was the first galaxy to be classified as a spiral galaxy. Its distance is estimated to be 31 million light-years away from Earth.

The steps/tools followed were: LRGB Combination on the R,G,B, ScreenTransferFunction (for previewing), Dynamic Background Extraction, Background Neutralization, Colour Calibration, Dynamic Background Extraction (now on the luminance image), Histogram Transformation on both, HDR Multiscale (wavelet) Transformation, LRGB Combination on Lum and RGB, and finally SCNR (noise reduction) and tweaked in Lightroom.<br><br />Date: March 26, 2025 ]]></description>
